New Pantai Expressway (NPE)
NPE Highway is a dual 3-lane carriageway link between Subang Jaya and the existing Seremban Highway, a link between the Federal Highway Route II at Petaling Jaya Selatan and the junction of Taman Maju Jaya, and a dual lane carriageway link between Pantai Dalam and Jalan Bangsar. Tolling commenced on 2nd April 2004. With these links, motorists traveling to and from Subang Jaya and Kuala Lumpur city centre via Jalan Bangsar will find the NPE Highway a more convenient alternative.
The overall design of NPE Highway length of 19.6 km incorporates three toll plazas, which are the Pantai Dalam Toll Plaza, PJS 2 Toll Plaza and PJS 5 Toll Plaza. Further features include 8 interchanges of various designs, 29 bridges (including pedestrian bridges), and two underpasses (passing Federal Highway Route II, near Angkasapuri and along Jalan Subang Utama).
