KUALA LUMPUR, 15 April 2025 – Big Tree’s interactive Hari Raya contest, ‘Foto Hari Raya Paling Menarik,’ has drawn to a close after weeks of heartwarming engagement from Malaysians nationwide. Launched on 17 March, the campaign called on the public to share their most cherished Hari Raya moments — and Malaysians answered with enthusiasm from day one.
From the moment the campaign began, submissions poured in, with 7,589 entries received across the campaign period. The response reflects the campaign’s wide appeal and the collective desire among Malaysians to share festive joy, nostalgia and unity during this meaningful time of year.
More than just a celebration of photography, ‘Foto Hari Raya Paling Menarik’ ignited a vibrant sense of togetherness. Families, friends and even strangers joined in the spirit of giving and celebration — sharing entries and turning their memories into digital beacons of cheer across Big Tree’s Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) screens in Klang Valley.
“This campaign was such a joy to witness,” said Stephanie Wong, Chief Operating Officer of Big Tree. “The creativity, colour and pure happiness in every submission really warmed our hearts. It’s a privilege for us to help amplify those special moments and share them with the wider public. It truly felt like celebrating Raya together with all of Malaysia”, she ended.
Running from 17 March to 13 April 2025, ‘Foto Hari Raya Paling Menarik’ invited Malaysians to submit their Hari Raya photos for a chance to win RM500 in Duit Raya and to donate RM200 under their name to the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund. True to its tagline, “Kongsikan kenangan, Kongsikan rezeki” (Share your memories, Share your rezeki), the campaign married festivity with philanthropy, spreading joy on both a personal and community level.
Winning photos are currently being displayed across Big Tree’s DOOH screens from 17 to 30 April 2025, lighting up the city with snapshots of joy, laughter and unity — captured from homes across Malaysia.
As Big Tree celebrates another successful community-driven initiative, ‘Foto Hari Raya Paling Menarik’ stands as a reminder of how small gestures — like sharing a memory — can ripple outward to inspire smiles, spark connections and foster a culture of giving.
As part of this initiative, ‘Foto Hari Raya Paling Menarik’ also aligns with Media Prima’s #IndahkanMemori theme for Ramadan Raya 2025, which encourages families to embrace the spirit of the festive season and create cherished memories that last a lifetime.
